SAP Ariba Templates
These mappings provide an Ariba-oriented starting point. They are not proof of SAP Ariba certification and do not replace the buyer's catalog-format specification or integration test.
ariba_cxml_inbound_posr_1_2_x
The ten inbound reference rules cover setup operation, sender credentials, buyer cookie, browser form-post URL, selected-item IDs, user email and unique-name extrinsics. Five are marked mandatory.
The current core setup controller parses its supported cXML fields directly and does not run this inbound template. Use it as a field catalog for project-specific normalization.
ariba_cxml_outbound_core
- 9 rules, 6 mandatory
- Core item data plus an Ariba-oriented classification domain field set
- Recommended first outbound copy when the buyer wants a basic Ariba-style order message
ariba_cxml_outbound_level2
- 12 rules, 6 mandatory
- Adds manufacturer name, manufacturer part ID and
AribaBuyerIdextrinsic fields - Use only when the buyer requests those fields and Magento has reliable source data
ariba_cxml_outbound_level2_strict
- The same 12 target fields, all mandatory
- Any missing mapped value stops transfer validation
Begin with core or non-strict level 2. Move to the strict variant only after sample carts prove that every product and customer supplies all twelve values.
