Sales Staff Extension

SoftwareSilo Sales Staff gives sales representatives their own Magento storefront workspace. A staff user can work with assigned customers, place or edit eligible orders in customer context, and review sales and commission data without receiving Magento Admin access.

The base extension includes staff accounts, groups, customer assignments, customer impersonation, customer creation, order management, commissions and reports. Customer history, visit planning, quotes, TFA, SAML and bulk import/export are separate packages.

How the account model works

Staff accounts are separate from Magento Admin users and customer accounts. They sign in through the storefront, but their access is limited by the Staff record and its assigned customers.

A representative can be given access to every customer or only to selected customers. If Can customer have multiple staff is enabled, the same customer may be assigned to more than one representative. Removing an assignment does not delete the Magento customer.

Staff groups organize representatives for administration and reporting. They do not replace each staff account's operational permissions, such as customer creation, item-price editing or order editing.
