Product Assignments
Product Assignments let you link documents to specific products so they can appear on the product page.
Where to Assign Documents
In Magento Admin:
- Catalog >Products
- Open a product
- In the product form, use the Customer Documents section
Inside that section:
- click Add Documents
- select one or more documents from the listing
- save the product
Scope Behavior (Store View)
Assignments are store-view aware:
- you assign documents in the currently selected store context
- product page rendering uses current store context
- if no assignment exists for the current store, global/default assignment can be used
What Can Be Assigned
You can assign documents that are already created in:
- Customers >Customer Documents > All Documents
Eligibility on frontend still depends on document access rules (public/customer/customer-group/validity/password).

Remove Product Assignments
To remove assigned documents from a product:
- open product edit page
- open Customer Documents section
- remove selected entries
- save product
