Freight Forwarder Price Lists

Use Bulkgood when a freight forwarder supplies agreed fixed charges by destination, weight, subtotal or item count and you want to maintain those charges in Magento Table Rates.

Central matrix

Choose Table Rate as the first price source when the forwarder's CSV is the source of truth. Select the Magento Table Rates condition that matches the agreement, then add the destination and threshold rows with Bulkgood = 1.

This approach works well for:

• destination-country and postcode bands;
• shipment weight thresholds;
• order-value thresholds;
• cart item-count thresholds.

Product handling values

Use Bulkgood Price / Product when individual products have an agreed freight or handling amount. The calculation method can sum those values or select their highest, lowest or average value.

The extension stores one Bulkgood Price per product. It has no separate bulkgood_type field for pallet classes. If half pallets, Euro pallets, and industrial pallets need different amounts, store the applicable amount on each product or model the shipment through Table Rates.

No live carrier connection

The extension does not send requests to a forwarder's API and does not retrieve live quotes, labels or tracking. Imported rates remain in effect until an administrator replaces them. Agree an update and test process with the operations team when fuel surcharges or route prices change.
