Quote Fees

Quote fees add a clearly labelled fixed charge to an offer. They suit costs that belong to the negotiated transaction but should not be hidden in a product price or shipping rate, such as special packaging, expedited handling, or documentation.

A fee can be selected by an administrator or assigned by a workflow rule. Its label and amount appear in quote totals and are carried into the resulting order, including the related invoice and credit-memo totals.

Tax treatment is configurable per store scope. Before using a fee in production, confirm whether its amount includes tax and test the result for the countries, customer groups, invoices, and refunds used by your store.
